Passing the torch
The annual Grey-Bruce Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Ontario made its stop in Kincardine on Wednesday, June 10. Hosted locally by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the event saw officers, local athletes, and community supporters walk and run to raise funds and awareness. Athletes and participants also held torch runs in Port Elgin, Hanover, Durham and Owen Sound. Pictured are the Kincardine Special Olympic team members. (Liz Small photo)
