Paintings of peaceful country sides, snow-covered paths and fields of flowers
adorn the walls at the Victoria Park Gallery, the work of this month’s guest
artist, Barbara Pearn. Pearn, who was born in Stratford and raised on a farm
near Mitchell, now calls Eugenia home. She worked for many years in Toronto
as a graphic artist and has been a painter most of her whole life. She was
invited to be the artist of the month for October at Victoria Park Gallery
through fellow artist Sandra Florence. A self-taught artist, she specializes
in landscapes with oils, some florals and commission work.
