The Miller Insurance Midgets went undefeated this past weekend, at the Archie McMillan hockey tournament. They defeated Hanover on Friday night 3-0. On Saturday, they defeated Shallow Lake 8-0 and tied Huntsville 3-3. That would lead to a semi-final matchup with Huntsville. Kincardine won this game 5-0 against an undisciplined Huntsville team. The final was a close game as they defeated South Huron Shores 2-1. Head coach Mike Fair said it was a solid team effort all weekend, with John Graham playing really well in the Kincardine net. The Midgets are off to a great start, winning two games and tying two league games, before this tournament.
