Impaired driver charged on Highway 21
A New Hamburg man has been charged with impaired driver after he was pulled over on Highway 21 last week.
According to a South Bruce OPP report, just after 11:50 p.m. on April 25, a police officer pulled over vehicle that was travelling southbound on Highway 21 in Kincardine. Through investigation the officer detected an odour of alcohol and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
The 45-year-old driver was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus. He is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on May 15 to answer to the charges.
