Prof. Susan Glasauer of the University of Guelph and Society of Wetland Scientists made a presentation to Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority’s board of directors on March 21, seeking endorsement of an application to declare the Greenock Swamp a “Wetland of Distinction.” She told the directors that a group of students has been studying the swamp, and is working toward making the application to have it declared a Wetland of Distinction.
