KEN ZURBRIGG

Kenneth “Ken” Elwood Zurbrigg of Kincardine passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at the age of 78.

Cherished husband and best friend of Kendra Zurbrigg (née Davidson).

Beloved father of Julie Zurbrigg and Kathy (Chris Lee) Zurbrigg and step-father of Michele Lee, Kelly Krauter and Curtis Krauter.

Missed by his grandchildren Hannah Large, Rory Large, Paige Zurbrigg, Leah Zurbrigg and Cecilia Lee.

Fondly remembered by his brother Lyle (Jennifer) Zurbrigg, sisters Shirley (Glenn) Lamb and Thelma Bode, sister-in-law Donna Riddell, brothers-in-law Gerald (Verna) Schenk and Garnet (Alice) Schenk and mother-in-law Gertrude Davidson.

He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Joan Zurbrigg (née Schenk), parents Cecil and Mabel Zurbrigg and brothers-in-law Don Bode and Ken (Wilma) Schenk.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service took place at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Gord Dunbar officiating.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date in the spring for those family and friends that were unable to attend the funeral service.

Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
