WILDA McARTHUR

Marjorie “Wilda” Ann (née Kimmel) McArthur, one of the founders of Fisherman’s Cove, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of Allen McArthur for 60 years.
Cherished mother of Richard (Ronda) McArthur and Kim (Jeff) Wiseman.
Loving grandmother of Dana (Nathan) Barnes, Travis McArthur (Brook McGlynn), Jacob, Emma and Zachary.
Survived by her siblings: Bill (Gail) Kimmel of Mississauga, Ken (Janet) Kimmel of Lanzville, B.C. and Mary Kimmel of Parksville, B.C. and by her siblings-in-law: Jim McArthur of B.C., Betty McArthur of Lucknow, Glen McArthur of Washington State, and Marilyn (Andy) Worth of Port Elgin.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Bill and Mary Kimmel, siblings Art Kimmel, Marg Nixy and Cathy Kimmel and in-laws Ethel and Herbert McArthur and Gloria and Mac McIsaac.
Due to provincial restrictions, a private family celebration of her life will be held at the Fisherman’s Cove clubhouse.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.

Many happy memories of years spent at ” The Cove ” with my family and getting to know and fun times with the McArthur family. So sad with the news of Wilda’s death. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family members…….sent with love. Ellen Lily Sergas
