Gabriele Trentelman

Gabriele Kathrin Trentelman (née Doerel), of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at Hanover District Hospital, on Thursday, Jan. 30th, 2020 in her 68th year.

Cherished wife of the late Jerry Bernard Trentelman (2012).

Loving mother of Ann Marie (Adam) Ruthven of Tiverton, Christine Trentelman of London and Richard (Tanya) Trentelman of Strathroy.

Dear grandmother of Mason, Hudson and Durin.

Beloved daughter of Traute Doerel of Kitchener.

Missed by her siblings Uwe Doerel of Kitchener and Barbara (David) Henderson of Guelph.

Remembered by her in-laws Henk (Brenda) Trentelman of Sunnybrae, Nova Scotia, Marcel (Cheryl) Trentelman of London, Annette (Frank) Bortolussi of London and Ine Michiels of Ingersoll.

Also missed by lifelong friends Bill (Nanette) Tennyson and family, Helmut Sieber and family and many business associates along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by her father Rudolf Doerel, brother-in-law Joe Michiels, parents-in-law Herman and Ann (née Graveman) Trentelman.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. The funeral service in memory of Gabriele’s life followed on Monday, Feb. 3 at 11:00 a.m., with Yolanda Cameron officiating.

Memorial donations to the Kincardine Minor Hockey Association, Kincardine Minor Soccer, Adopt a Pet – Lucknow or Lions Foundation of Canada – Canine Vision would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
