DONNA SWAN

Donna Jean Swan (née Surridge) of Ripley passed peacefully, with her family by her side, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in her 79th year.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Swan.

Cherished mother of Dwight Swan, Denise Graham, David (Candace) Swan and Derek Swan.

Dear sister of James “Jim” (Grace) Surridge, Edward “Ted” (Lois) Surridge and Florence (Robert) Inkster.

Donna will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many dear and close friends.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Donelda, her brothers John and Francis and her children Douglas Swan and Diane Catto.

The Swan and Surridge families would also like to thank the wonderful doctors and nursing staff at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine for the comforting assistance they provided to the family.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the Ripley-Huron Legion Branch 440 (18 Jessie St. Ripley, ON) from 2-5 p.m. on May 4, 2019, with lunch and refreshments being served.

Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

  1. DONNA WAS A NEIGHBOUR AND GREAT FRIEND TO ME WHEN WE LIVED NEXT DOOR TO ONE ANOTHER AT BRUCE .BEACH . YEARS AND YEARS AGO ABOUT 47 YEARS AGO. NEVER KEPT IN TOUCH VERY MUCH BUT SO OFTEN HAVE THOUGHT OF \DONNA AND THE Family. Her kids and mine had some good old times. I know you lived life well Donna
