SANDRA MATHESON

Sandra Margeurite Matheson (née Kempton) of Kincardine passed away unexpectedly, following a brief illness, at London Health Science Centre – University Hospital on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at age 67.
Beloved wife of Allan Matheson.
Devoted mother to Kelly Matheson (Josh Mifflin).
Cherished daughter of Janet Kempton.
Dear sister of Diane Rotteau (Brad), Linda McQuillin, Tom Kempton (Pauline), Mary MacNay (Steve) and Helen VanOsch (Brian).
Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Murdock Matheson, John D. Matheson, Bill Matheson (Laura) and Don Matheson (Rhonda) and sister-in-law Darlene Gulka. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Bill Kempton and brothers-in-law Rick McQuillin and Charlie Matheson.
A private family memorial service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, with Pastor Ken Craig officiating.
A celebration to honour Sandy’s life will be held at Ainsdale Golf Club beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, with remembrances shared at 4 p.m.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
