ROSS CREIGHTON

Ross William Creighton of Kincardine passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Kincardine hospital on Monday June 12, 2023. He was 88 years old.
Left to mourn his passing are his daughter Kathy (John D) Colling and his son Tom Creighton, both of Kincardine.
Also missed by grandchildren Mike (Cathy) Colling, of Peterborough; and Mitch (Rochelle) Colling, of Kincardine and great-grandchildren Matty, Ethan and Brett Colling of Peterborough and Claire and Cody Colling of Kincardine.
Predeceased by his wife Bernice Creighton, brother Keith Creighton and sister Margaret Franklin and also his best friend and furry companion Ginger.
Ross was the guy you called for any job of carpentry, plumbing, electrical or anything else that needed doing. He was the first one there and the last to leave. His entire family benefited from his generous heart and his time. Nothing was too big or too small for Ross to fix. He was a devoted sports fan of his two grandsons Mike and Mitch. Many fun weekends were spent as a family at tournaments around the province. We can’t count the times Grandpa Ross drove through any weather to get the boys to their games and home safe. We are forever grateful. In these last weeks Ross spent special time with Mitch watching his favourite Blue Jays and the hockey games with drink in hand.
A special thank you to Dr. Gunaratne and Dr. Tat for their compassion and their kind words. We are so thankful to have these doctors in our community.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family gathering will be held.
