RONALD TAYLOR
Ronald Maxwell “Pa” Taylor, of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, in his 91st year.
Loving husband of the late Sheila Taylor (née Piggott).
Predeceased by his parents Ernest Taylor, Catherine Ellen “Blye” and Tom Joyce.
Survived by his sons Gary (Barbara), Mark (Annie) and Adrian (Jacquie) and sister Cath (Trevor) Simms.
Cherished “Pa” of Shane Hansen (Jay), Jamie Taylor (Luke) Jodi Taylor (L), Brianna Reaume (Neil), Pearce Taylor, Sharon Lytle (Curtis), Alex Neitzel (Jeremey), Tori Hamilton (Bob) as well as 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews from England, along with close friends in the United States.
Ron worked for Ontario Hydro and O.P.G. until his retirement in 1993, when his days were filled with fishing and golfing. He enjoyed nothing more than a BBQ surrounded by his family.
Known for his sage advice and wicked sense of humour, Ronald touched the lives of many, and he will be missed.
A memorial service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022. Interment at Kincardine Cemetery was followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch #183, Kincardine.
