RONALD SCOTT

Ronald Andrew Scott passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, in his 72nd year.
Loving father of Andrew of Kasabonika Lake and the late Matthew Scott of St. Catharines.
Grandfather of Riley of Welland.
Left to mourn are his mother Jean Scott of Kincardine, sister Margaret Ann Orr of Kincardine, brothers Robert Scott of Richmond Hill and Peter and Lynn Scott of Inverary. Also missed by his nephews Doug, Rick, Todd, Blake, Craig and Ryan and their families.
Predeceased by his son Matthew and his father, Andrew Lawson Scott of Kincardine.
Ron grew up on the farm in Kincardine Township then moved to St. Catharines where he met his wife Shirley. He later struggled with mental illness as well as heart and lung issues which resulted in his death.
At his request, cremation has taken place.
Interment will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines at 11 a.m. on June 24, 2019.
Locally, a service of remembrance for his relatives and friends is planned for Aug. 10, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. at Cedar Grove (915 Huron Terrace, Kincardine).
