ROBERT PERCIVAL

Robert “Bob” Edward Percival, formerly of Kincardine, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels on Monday, May 23, 2022, in his 87th year.
Cherished husband of the late Marguerite “Margie” Percival (née Arnold) (2019).
Loving father of Heather Percival of Seaforth, David (Dianne) Percival of Nova Scotia and Valerie Percival (Shawn Barber) of Ottawa.
Missed by his grandchildren: Craig Perkes, Stuart Perkes, Lauren Percival, Owen Barber and Theo Barber.
Fondly remembered by his brother William “Bill” Percival, sister Helen (John) Beynon, brother-in-law George (Marion) Arnold and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Nellie (née Purkis) Percival, son-in-law Doug Perkes and sisters-in-law Patricia Percival (2005) and Beverley Woods-Percival (2019).
Bob will be remembered for his ability to fix anything, his love of singing in the Kincardine Community Singers and the apples from his orchard. He is now back in the arms of his beloved Margie.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine on from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 27 and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, followed by the memorial service honouring Bob life’s at 3 p.m., with Rev. Mary Farmer officiating.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society of Huron County or the Salvation Army would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
