RALPH THACKER

William Ralph Thacker of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in his 80th year.
Remembered by his wife Donna Thacker (née Hedley) and their three daughters: Heather, Helen and Jennifer.
Predeceased by his parents, William and Rena (née Stewart) Thacker, sister Bernice and brother Earl.
Raised on the 9th Concession of Kincardine Township, Ralph married Donna on July 4, 1964, at the United Church in Bervie. They enjoyed 57 happy years together while raising their three daughters in Bramalea and Mount Forest and finally were enjoying semi-retirement in their hometown of Kincardine.
Ralph graduated from the General Accounts Associations (University of British Columbia) with a designation of Certified General Accountant in 1970. Ralph ran his private accounting practice from 1984 to present.
Ralph was well respected and admired by family, friends and colleagues. He was known for his clever, quick-witted humour and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private family graveside service to honour Ralph’s life was held at the Kincardine Cemetery on Friday, June 11, 2021, with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating.
