PETER ROBINSON

Peter Kenelm Robinson, of Point Clark, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine, on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, in his 80th year.
Cherished husband of Patricia (née Saxton).
Deeply loved by his daughter Belinda and by his “adopted” daughter Shirley Saxton and her family, brother Kenneth and family, and sisters Susan and Angela and their families. Survived by his daughter Wendy.
Peter will be forever missed by his grandchildren Jennifer Robinson, Naomi Yonick and Calum and Rhys Davis.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Jessie (née Simpson) Robinson, sister Maureen and brother David.
Peter’s family would especially like to recognize the following people for their valued friendship and support: Joye Hunt, Sue and David Young, Deborah and Georgia Morris, Margaret and Stan Day, Carol and Tony Clark, Derek Gladding Jr., Deborah and Gabriel Caira, Cherie Hunt-Johnson, Dave Jury and family, Michael and Annetta Bandura, Tony and Rose Davis, and the Thursday morning breakfast crew.
Peter was born in Rotherham, Yorkshire in 1941. In his late twenties, he and Pat and their two young children emigrated to Canada where Peter would spend his career as a nuclear operator at Ontario Hydro (Bruce Power). Peter loved the outdoors – fishing, sailing and diving – and he was an accomplished carpenter in his spare time.
Following Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
