Pearl was a busy farm wife and mother. She developed a keen interest in art and was an exceptional artist herself. Her talents included oil painting, making and painting china, folk art and painting Christmas ornaments. She was also very interested in family history and spent hours researching family trees and genealogy. This led her to become a long-time member of the Bruce County Historical Society. Her greatest joys were her grandkids. She always wanted to know how all the kids were and what they were up to.
A public visitation was held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.
A private family funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 4. 2020, with interment at the Ripley Cemetery, officiated by Ruth MacLean.
