Obituary – Nancy Trotter

NANCY TROTTER

It is with great sadness that we announce the death, in the early hours of Monday, May 20, 2024, of Nancy Gwendolyn Trotter (née King).
Beloved wife of Robert Trotter, of Fennels Corners.
Gwendolyn was daughter-in-law to Ty and Audrie Trotter, of Trotter’s Garage, where she worked with Robert for several years before they married. She was a devoted mother to her five children: Tammy, Bradley, Senora, Clayton and Jeremy.
She will be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Kate and forever loved by Robert, her husband of 38 years. Gwen was a loyal and loving sister to Connie, Faye, Dulcie, Judy (deceased) and Fern (deceased) and a dear friend to Lois Weatherdon.
Robert and Gwen are grateful to the staff of Brampton Civic, Sunnybrook and Orangeville hospitals for their care during Gwen’s illness. Robert thanks everyone for their support during this very difficult time.
Gwendolyn lived much of her life as a Jehovah’s Witness: she is in her paradise now and free of pain. Robert will miss his soul mate and life partner with all his heart; she will never be replaced in his love.
A tree will be planted in memory of Nancy in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville. The 22nd annual Dedication Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024.
Condolences may be offered to the family through the Dods & McNair Funeral Home website at www.dodsandmcnair.com.
