MERVYN COLLINS

Mervyn Willis Collins of Kincardine passed away at Tiverton Park Manor, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at the age of 87.
Cherished husband of Mary Collins (née Waldeck) of Kincardine.
Loving father of Barry (Lynn) Collins of Kincardine, Bill (Sheila) Collins of Kincardine, Mike (Kandice) Collins of Penticton, BC and Steve (Kathy) Collins of Bracebridge.
Dear grandfather of Alycia (Nick), Bethany, Micah (Kelsey), Tessa (Jarrett), Mickaela (Robert), Kinsey, Nate, Kaden, Sam, Sadie (Tyler) and Maeve; and great-grandfather of Nora and Logan.
Remembered by his sister Gwyneth (Bob) Farrell of Kincardine and sister-in-law Brenda Collins of Arthur. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Harold and Ina Collins (née Needham) and brothers Burton (Margaret) Collins and Bevan Collins.
A memorial service to honour Mervyn’s life was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, with visitation one hour prior, starting at 10 a.m. Pastor Kenneth Craig was the officiant.
Memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice or Heart & Stroke Foundation were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
