MAURICE PINKERTON

Maurice “Mike” Alexander Pinkerton, of Inverhuron, passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey
Health Centre in Kincardine on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, in his 90th year.
Beloved spouse of Carmel Pinkerton.
Cherished by his children: Jamie Pinkerton of Tiverton and Lee-Anne (Rick) Lehman of Tiverton, and son-in-law Terry Hyde of Wasaga Beach.
Fondly remembered by his stepchildren: Joanne (Laura), Sheila (Jack), Maureen (J.C.) and Tracy
(Chris).
Dear grandpa to Jon (Shelly) Martel, Jason Martel, Trisha Pinkerton, Ashley Hyde, Dan (Maria)
Hyde, Anna (Alex) Petylarsky and David Lehman (Nataliya Rudzish).
Missed by five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his niece and nephews.
Dearly missed by his sister, Marjorie Westwood.
Predeceased by his parents, Annie & Alex Pinkerton; his first wife, Shirley Pinkerton (1996); his daughter, Carol Hyde (2004); and his brother, John Pinkerton (2019).
Mike was a very treasured member of the farming community around Tiverton and Glammis. He was a kind man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed greatly by his many friends and
neighbours.
Due to provincial restrictions, a private family memorial service will be held at the Davey-Linklater
Funeral Home in Kincardine.
