MAUREEN WADSWORTH

Catherine Maureen Wadsworth passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on July 8, 2021 at the Kincardine hospital.
Maureen was born Oct. 3, 1950, in Kincardine, Ontario.
Maureen touched everyone’s life, with her compassion and kindness. She will be remembered always as Lady W, with her incredible style and class.
For many years Maureen worked in the press industry in Toronto.
Maureen had passion for cooking elaborate meals, enjoyed martinis with her friends and had a tremendous love for cats – especially her Blanche.
Survived by her beloved brother Michael Wadsworth and his wife Sandra Fleming.
Loving aunt to Michael (Wink) Susan, James, Catherine, Peter, Thomas, Robert & Patti. Cherished by all her great-nephews and great-nieces as well as by her great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces, and treasured by all her many friends.
Maureen is predeceased by her mother Pauline Wadsworth, father Thomas Wadsworth, husband Mike Julian, brothers Paul and Gary Wadsworth, niece Martha Wadsworth and nephew Marcus Wadsworth.
Maureen will be greatly missed and never forgotten. As Maureen would say, “Meow for Now.”

A celebration of her life and that of her nephew Marcus will be held at the Wadsworth cottage, 177 Harbour Street, Kincardine from 12-6 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Please feel free to bring your own lawn chair.
