Dorothea Mae MacLeod (née Alton) of Kincardine passed away at Trillium Court, Kincardine on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, in her 99th year.
Cherished mother of David (Arlene) of Bancroft, Donald (Nicole) of Mount Brydges, Douglas (Shirley) of Paisley, Carolyn Grice of London and Ken (Donna) of Ripley.
Predeceased by her daughters Betty Ricchio, Jean Carson, Alice Rae; former spouse Johnston MacLeod; and brothers Clayton and Alvin (Madeline).
Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Missed by son-in-law Ormand Rae and sister-in-law Lois Alton.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The service to celebrate Dorothea’s life followed at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Ray Richards officiating.
Final resting place: Dungannon Cemetery.
