Obituary – Linda Farrell

LINDA FARRELL

Linda Jane (née Clark) Farrell of Kincardine passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Huron Shores Hospice at Tiverton Park Manor on Thursday, May 27, 2021, in her 78th year.
Cherished mother of Tracy and Steve Hallam, of Kincardine; and Todd Farrell and Debbie Farmer, of Peterborough.
Loving grandma of Ryan Hallam & Jolene, Tyler Hallam & Mackenzie, both of Kincardine; and Cameron Farrell, of Peterborough.
Dear sister of Brian and Melanie Clark, of Bruce Beach.
Predeceased by her parents, Percy and Helen (née Wilson) Clark.
Linda was a dearly loved mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She had a deep love for her family, who she enjoyed spending time with. She was proud of them in so many ways.
Linda graduated in the nursing class of 1967. She went on to work at the Wingham Hospital and a doctor’s office until she became a full-time mom. She kept in contact with her nursing classmates over the years, attending the 50th reunion in 2017.
Linda was an avid Red Hatter, loved quilting, going to the tea group at McDonald’s and was known for her crocheted dishcloths, which she enjoyed handing out. Her kind heart, caring attitude and dedication to her family has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew her. We were blessed to have had her in our lives.
Following Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family ceremony will be held in June at the Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice, Allies for Alley Catz or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Portrait and memorial online at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com.
