Obituary – John Teskey

JOHN TESKEY
1938 – 2020

John Teskey passed away suddenly at his home on July 30, 2020, at the age of 82.

Beloved husband and best friend to Lynne (née Campbell) for 53 years.
John played life like he played hockey – and he was a winner in both.
He served seven years in the military, four of which he spent in Germany with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. He loved farm life and was always excited to see a new crop of calves on the ground and the barns filled with fresh hay and straw.

John will be missed by his wife Lynne, his sons Mark (Jenn) of Newbrooke, Alberta and Stephen of Pembroke, Ontario and his daughter Jena (Mark) Winterburn of Kilworth, Ontario.

Loving grandfather to Daryl, Melanie, Keira, Maddy, River and Ruby and great-grandfather to Olivia and Ariana.

He is survived by his sister Anne (Murray) Batte of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Manners) Teskey.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion – Kincardine Branch 183 or to a charity of your choice.
