JOANNE CONLEY FRY

1955 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Joanne Marie Conley Fry, on Friday, February 24, 2023, at South Grey Bruce Health Centre, Kincardine, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Mark Fry and proud and loving mother of Daniel Fry (Kristyn Miller-Fry).
Cherished grandma of Darren Morris and Amelya Fry. Dear sister of Chris Conley (Sheila), Mary-Lynne (Jodi Bryan d.2010), Steve Conley (Heather Wylie), Mike Conley (Janet), Paul Conley (d.2020) and sister in-law of Cindi Fry and Margaret Devine. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Shannon Conley, Taylor Conley, Sarah Kirk, Shawn Conley, Kevin Conley, Jason Bryan, Marc Conley, Matthew Conley, Ryan Conley, Sean Conley, Michael Conley, Maeghan Conley, Nicole Tal, Samantha Fry, Jocelyn Fry and Hayley Fry. Predeceased by her parents Patrick (2000) and Betty (née Cook) Conley (1978), stepmother Mary Sharp (2007) and in-laws Roderick (1998) and Pamela (2016) Fry. Born in London and raised in Bramalea, Joanne was a champion with the Bramalea Lions Majorettes and Drum Corp. Winning the world championships and making many lifelong friends along the way. She was always cheering on her son, Daniel and grandson Darren, at their various sporting events in Kincardine, where Joanne and her beloved husband Mark have lived happily for the past 27 years. Joanne’s grandchildren, Darren and Amelya, were always spoiled with smiles, hugs and unconditional love. Joanne worked at Fincher’s Book and Gift Shop for many years, where she would take every chance she had, to talk about how proud she was of her family and happily bragging about any recent achievements to anyone who would listen. Joanne’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at South Grey Bruce Health Centre in Kincardine, for their kindness and care.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Portrait and memorial online at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com
