JIM EVANS

James William Evans (formerly of Kincardine and Brantford) passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Nithview Community, New Hamburg, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of the late Mildred Evans, who predeceased him on Jan. 27, 2014.
Dear father of Janice and her husband Robert Kemp, of Lethbridge; Joyce and her husband Charles Roessner, of Calgary; Patricia and her husband Sean Gallagher, of Raleigh, North Carolina; and Steven and his wife Claire Cochrane, of Ayr. Proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Survived by his brothers William and his wife Pat, of Calgary; and Lynn, of Kincardine.
Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Kathleen (Johnson) Evans, by his brother Ernest and his wife Alayne, by his sisters Eueen and her husband Ed Emmerton, and Frances and her husband Eugene Duke.
Cremation has taken place, with interment later in Kincardine Cemetery.
A celebration of Jim’s life will take place in the fall and will be announced.
Donations, in memory of Jim, can be made to the Nithview Home, New Hamburg and would be appreciated by the family.
