James “Jim” Gordon Coverley of Kincardine passed away, with family by his side, at Chapman House in Owen Sound on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, in his 73rd year.
Beloved husband of Sue Coverley (née Beadle).
Cherished father of Cari-Anne (Vince) Deciccio of Gores Landing, Traci (Glen) Jewer of Oshawa, Michael (Tammy) Catherwood of Vittoria and Paul (Stacey) Catherwood of Simcoe.
Loving grandfather of Kyle, Matt, Katie, Jenny, Faith, Liam and Chelsea.
Dear brother of Dan Coverley of Dunsford, Joe (Anna) Coverley of Ingleside, Rose (John) Brown of Courtice and Donald (Joan) Coverley of Nestleton.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019. The funeral service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, with Pastor Tina Drysdale officiating.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
