Surrounded by her family, Bette Jane (Chapman) Hughes of Teeswater, formerly of Harriston and raised in Kincardine, passed away at the Wingham and District Hospital on Saturday, Jan.12, 2019, in her 78th year.

Beloved wife of Bruce Hughes for 57 years.

Loved mother of Stephanie and Tom Ralston, and Chris and Bev Hughes.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Blake and Spencer Ralston, and CJ and Cate Hughes.

Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Harvey Judges, and BJ and Paul Guest, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Harry and Wilma Chapman, and brother Bob.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating.

Spring interment in Teeswater Culross Cemetery.
