HELEN FINLAYSON

Helen Mae Finlayson (née Hutton) passed away at Trillium Court Long Term Care in Kincardine on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, in her 81st year.
Born February 10, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Jean Hutton.
Beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Finlayson.
Dear mother of Timothy Finlayson (Mary Markovic) of Toronto.
Loved sister of Margaret “Marg” MacKinnon of Kincardine.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Predeceased by son Michael John Finlayson and brother-in-law Alan MacKinnon.
Helen worked as a nurse for many years, with a special interest in geriatric nursing. She was a long-time and active member of the Kincardine Baptist Church and a loyal Kincardine Pipe Band attendee. She was a mentor to many and a friend to all, and she will be sadly missed.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home (757 Princes Street, Kincardine) on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023. The funeral service to honour Helen’s life was held on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Kincardine Baptist Church (569 Queen Street, Kincardine) with Rev. Mike Kuehl officiating.
Final resting place is Kincardine Cemetery.
