GLADYS WYLDS

Gladys Marietta Wylds (née Lamont) of Kincardine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, in her 94th year.
Cherished wife of the late Elmer “Smiley” Wylds (2004).
Missed by her children Dennis (Debbie) Wylds and Diane (Bill) Molnar, all of Kincardine.
Loving Nana to Nathan (Kim) Robinson, Shane (Becky) Robinson, Mitch (Bailey) Finlayson, Tyler Wylds, Candice Wylds and Brandon (Marj) Wylds.
Beloved great-grandma to Keara Aston, Carter Robinson and Cooper and Abby Robinson.
Cherished sister of Lloyd (Muriel) Lamont, George Lamont, Archie Lamont, Alvin Lamont, Elmer Lamont, and Betty MacDonald. Remembered by her sisters-in-law Evelyn and Darlene Lamont and brother-in-law Ken MacDonald. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Colin and Lillian (née Haines) Lamont, brothers Harold, Norman, Leonard, Colin, Doug, Kevin and Gordie Lamont; sisters Evelyn Fox, Jennie MacDonald and LilyMae Lamont; sisters-in-law Helen, Gail, Marie, Marg and Virginia Lamont and brothers-in-law Murray MacDonald and Russell Fox.
Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022 at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, from where the funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, with Rev. Kenneth Craig officiating.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
