GEORGE ALDERMAN

George William Alderman of Kincardine passed away at Victoria Hospital in London on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of the late Helen Margaret “Marg” Harper (2018).
Dear father of Andrew (Kim) Alderman.
Loving grandfather of Lauren and Georgia Alderman.
Remembered by his siblings Fred (Patsy) Alderman, Lorraine (Steve) Cooper and Joyce (Lee) Grove.
Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his daughter Cathy, parents Frederick and Peggy (née Sturrock) Alderman, and sisters Carol Alderman, Beatrice May Alderman, Ann Shirley Alderman and Christine (Richard) Woodfield.
George was a long-time member of the PPBSO, Highland Fusiliers, Cambridge Pipe Band, Penetangore Pipe Band and Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020. The funeral service to honour George’s life took place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
