GARY FREER

Gary Cecil Freer of Kincardine passed away at University Hospital in London, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at the age of 80.
Husband of Kathleen “Kay” (née Tanner) Freer.
Loving father of Lynn Freer (Brown).
Dear grandfather of Jason, Amie (Brett), Shawn, Corey (Lindsey) and Tyler (Jessica); and great-grandfather of Oliver, Sheilagh, Lakelan, Cora and Riley.
Fondly remembered by his brother Donald (Shirley Clark).
Missed by sisters-in-law Donna Anderson, Phyllis Jackson, Elaine Burt, Wilda Todd, Inez McLean, Bonnie (Pierre) Souland and Shirley Johnson. Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Mary Freer, son Mark Freer, daughter Bev Wayland and by two sisters and three brothers.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019. The memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, with Pastor Ken Craig officiating.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
