Eric James Harris passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at 80 years of age.
Beloved husband of Lorna Harris and predeceased by Carrie (née Reid) Harris (2007).
Much loved father of Susan (Carl) Hlinka of Kincardine Township, Murray (Cheryl) Harris of Kincardine and Kevin (Alanna) Harris of Guelph.
Loving grandpa of Rachel (Ted) Klages; Deborah, Nathan, Anna and Stephen Hlinka; Jananne (Jeremy) Charlton, Jenamae (Shayne) van den Dries, Braden, Brooklyn Harris; and Trent and Jeremy Harris. Also missed by seven great-grandchildren.
Survived and loved by sister Pearl (Gerald) Ralph of Toronto and brother Verdun Harris of New York.
Remembered by Lorna’s family Rob (Sheila) Wainman, Neil (Cathy) Wainman and Kimberlee Wainman and their families.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019. The funeral service to honour Eric’s life followed at 11a.m. on Nov. 4, 2019.
Final resting place: Tiverton Cemetery.
