ELSIE MacDONALD

Elsie Lavina (Pollock) MacDonald of Ripley passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Jan. 2, 2020, in her 101st year.
Loving and cherished mother of Cheryl Pollock and Brian (Wendy) Pollock.
Dearly loved grandmother to Chris Breckles, Jeff Breckles, Tony (Adrienne) Pollock, Joanne (Thomas) Ruppen and Alicia Roppel.
Great-grandmother to Erika Breckles, Sadie and Reid Pollock, Everett Ruppen and Alex, Robert and Katie Roppel.
She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lloyd, infant son Clark, granddaughter Cynthia and also by her parents, brother George and sisters Maude and Edna.
Elsie was an easy-going person who loved and was very proud of her family. She had many friends and enjoyed numerous activities over the years such as golf, shuffling, quilting, Bingo, cards, darts, etc. You name it, she enjoyed it. She wintered in Florida for many years which was a highlight in her life. She always had a smile and that twinkle in her eye. We were all proud to call her our Mom, Gram and Great Gramma.
As per her request, cremation has taken place.
A graveside interment will follow in early summer at Bear Creek Cemetery, Brigden, Ontaro.
A special thank you to the staff at RVilla for her ongoing care, to the doctors and nurses at South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine, to Dr. Scott and to her palliative care nurse, Lindsey. Your care and compassion was very much appreciated.
