EILEEN McKAY

Eileen McKay (née Valad) of Windsor ( and previously of Holyrood) passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2020, at the age of 103.
Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Calvin McKay; sons Blaine McKay and Larry McKay; and parents James and Mary (Cassidy) Valad. Also predeceased by brother Jerome (Marion), sisters Donelda Coulsey (Delbert) and Helen MacInnes.
Survived by her daughter-in-law Linda McKay.
Missed by her two granddaughters: Shelley McKay (Michael Bodalski) and Kiffi Olson (nee McKay) and by four great-grandsons: Shannon and Seth Olson, and Lenin and Ellis McKay-Bodalski.
She will also be missed by her extended family and friends.
Eileen and Calvin spent many happy years in Windsor and enjoyed memorable summers at their Ponderosa cottage in Kincardine.
As per Eileen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. Memorial donations to the CNIB or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Spring interment will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Riversdale.
