EDWIN HEWITT

George “Edwin” Hewitt of Kincardine passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Sunday, March 29, 2020, in his 92nd year.
Cherished husband of Fern Hewitt (née Collins) for almost 70 years.
Loving father of Lin (Joyce Anne) Hewitt of Kincardine and Eric (Marion) Hewitt of Armow.
Missed by his grandchildren: Steve (Angie) Hewitt, Laurie (Jay) Bell, Kevin (Michelle) Hewitt and Mark (Brandy) Hewitt, and by 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also missed by his sister Allie Hayes of Kincardine, brother Ron (Janice) Hewitt of Kincardine as well as sisters-in-law Eunice Hewitt of Lucknow, Helen Collins of Hanover and Shirley Collins of Merritt, B.C., and brother-in-law Gary Collins of Auburn.
Also remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by grandson Michael, parents James & Violet Hewitt (née Schuler), siblings Francis (Mabel) Hewitt, Audrey (Norman) Bonnett, Wilbert Hewitt and Donna (John) Carter, brothers-in-law Charlie Hayes, Roy Collins and Gayle Collins and sister-in-law Irene Collins.
A celebration to honour Edwin’s life will be held at a later date.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
