John Douglas “Doug” Love of Kincardine passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton on Monday, June 10, 2019, at the age of 80.
Cherished husband of Carol Love (née Cottrill).
Loving father of Sean (Sandra) Love of Richmond Hill and Christopher (Katrusha) Love of Oakville. Missed by his grandchildren Thomas, Scott, Elizabeth and Jack.
Dear brother of Robert (Mara) Love of Tofino, B.C. and Murray Love (Susan Retallack) of London, and brother-in-law to Helen Mykytyn of Clarkston, Michigan, Sharron Gale (Brian) of Chatham, and Bruce Cottrill (Margaret) of Brantford.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, and was followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. and then a reception in the Davey-Linklater lounge.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
