DOROTHY WOODS

Dorothy Woods (née Bonnett) of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, in her 96th year.
Cherished wife of the late Wallace Woods (1991).
Dorothy was the loving mother of Ed (Jeanie) Woods, of R.R. #1, Tiverton; Donald (Joyce) Woods, of Kincardine; Garry (Cathy McLelland) Woods, of Armow; Bruce (Carol) Woods, of Lorne Beach; and Ruth Woods (Dennis Grummett), of Kincardine.
Dear grandmother of Wade, Troy, Chad, April, Daryl, Shawn, Michelle, Sonya, Cory, Kelly, Alicia and Kent; great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many step-great-grandchildren.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Tomas and Mabel Bonnett (née Jackson); brothers Bob, Charlie, Tom (Alice) and Jim; sisters Emma (Oscer) Husk, Lotte (Norm) Erb, Verna (Austin) Woods; and daughter-in-law Sharon Berndt Woods.
Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019. The funeral service to celebrate Dorothy’s life took place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating.
Dorothy was buried next to her husband at the Kincardine Cemetery.
