Doris Margaret Powers of Chepstow passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre -Chesley on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in her 77th year.
Beloved wife of John.
Mother to David (Sandra) of Mississauga and Crystal (Dane McMurray) of Elmwood, and grandma to Maria and Joseph.
Doris will be remembered by her siblings Bill (Eileen) Fritz of Stouffville, Thomas (Ann) Fritz of Chepstow, Helen (Don) Waechter of Hanover, Pat (Helen) of Combermere, David (Wally) of Conestoga, Fred Fritz of Walkerton and John (Mary) Fritz of Formosa as well as by sisters-in-law Patricia Fritz of Hanover, Betty Fritz of Chepstow, Angela Lacey-Fritz of Calgary, Joan Frizell of Owen Sound, brother-in-law Gerrard Powers (Marilyn Messerschmitt), sister-in-law Mary Ryan-Powers, and by her many nieces and nephews.
Doris was predeceased by her sisters Agnes (Len), Mary (Walter), Margaret and Thecla; brothers Bernie, Joe, Jerry, Carl (Margie) and Rob; and her parents Ambrose and Margaret (née Graf) Fritz.
The Mass of Christian Burial was held at Mary Immaculate Church in Chepstow 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, with Fr. Emmanuel Azike officiating. A reception followed.
Private family interment in Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Chepstow.
