DORIS BRADLEY

Doris Jean (née Bonnett) Bradley passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Elmer C. Bradley and cherished partner of Morgan E. Johnston for over 20 years.
Doris will be greatly missed by her niece Susan (Barry) Cliffe of Ripley and their family Shannon Bonilla and Bryan Cliffe.
She will also be remembered by Morgan’s family, Jackie and Harry Bruce, Carla, Alana and Charlee, Steven and Ruth Johnston, Lesley, Andrew, Evan and Saundra and Julie and Bill Brown, Shea, Daina and Michaela, along with many other friends.
Doris was the only child of the late Robert and Ida (née Stewart) Bonnett.
At an early age, Doris showed a keen interest in music education and therefore music became an important part of her life. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music and attained high standing with attendance at Harbord Collegiate Toronto and North Toronto Collegiate until graduating in the early 1950s. Later she went on to get her Supervisor of Music with the Department of Education, then taught in schools throughout the Bruce Inspectorate for several years.
A funeral service to honour Doris’s life was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
