Obituary – Corinne (Boyle) Louther

CORINNE LOUTHER
June 26, 1962 – April 5, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Corinne Marie Louther (née Boyle), in her 62nd year.
Corinne is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, John; and her three boys, who were the light of her life: Bo (Jessie), Colton (Maddi) and Chase.
She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Bryan (Janet), Bonnie, Kerry, and Heather (Sam Finnie); her mother-in-law Mary Louther; and brother-in-law, Dan (Shelley Walmsley).
She will be fondly remembered by 12 nieces and nephews, and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews, upon whom she continually showered love.
Corinne was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Irene Boyle; her brother Kevin; and her father-in-law, Bill Louther.
Corinne was so appreciative of the love of family and friends as they rallied around her through her journey with pancreatic cancer over the past year. Her spirit and will to live every day to the very fullest truly impressed those close to her, including the medical team who supported her. In the words of one of her doctors, “Corinne was both inspired and inspirational to others with her strength and perseverance.”
Corinne embodied loyalty and devotion as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and true friend. Her smile and genuine camaraderie made her a treasured friend, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives. Corinne’s positivity and ability to “see the glass as half full” was demonstrated throughout her entire lifetime, including during her final days spent with us.
Corinne was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and an exceptional business woman. She was passionate about her vocation at Wescast Industries, Walkerton Clean Water Centre and, most recently, with the Aboriginal Water and Wastewater Association of Ontario.
John and her boys truly loved and respected Corinne as the “heart of their home”. Her ongoing contribution to their lives will be sorely missed. Corinne and John loved music, and nothing better than a good concert. She was so looking forward to one more Bruce Springsteen concert in November. Corinne’s skill and ability to capture the perfect picture as our family’s designated photographer will live on in the countless photos that she took over many years.
As we bid farewell to dear Corinne, her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Let us cherish our countless memories of this remarkable woman.
John and the boys wish to acknowledge the wonderful demonstration of support from her family, friends, and healthcare professionals. We are humbled, comforted, grateful and enriched.
Cremation has taken place. A private funeral service was held at Cameron Funeral Home in Walkerton, Ontario and was followed by a Celebration of her Life on Friday, April 12, 2024.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation or Saugeen Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made online at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com.
