In his retirement he opened and enjoyed operating Surridge’s Golf Club Repair and Skate Sharpening. He was a Legion Branch 6 member, where he loved to work in the kitchen with the ladies.
Lawrence and Irene loved to travel and he was always keen to find a casino to spend some time in. He was very proud of his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.
