ROBERT “BOB” MITCHELL

John Robert Henry “Bob” Mitchell of Kincardine passed away, after a brief illness, at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of Debra Mitchell (née Moorehouse).
Loving father of Joel (Donna) Mitchell, Kyle (Karen) Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell and Deanna (Matt) Wilsack.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Maddie Mitchell, Charlotte Mitchell, Nash Mitchell, Navy Mitchell, Gabby Wilsack, Cole Wilsack, Hailey Wilsack, Tenley Mitchell and Marley Mitchell.
Dear brother of Jeff (Geraldine) Graham, Pam (Norm) Fenton, Cindy (John) Shales and Jeanette (Dave) Dewitt.
Fondly remembered by his father-in-law Bill Mooreshouse, brothers-in-law Kevin (Marg) Moorehouse and Scott (Katherine) Moorehouse, sister-in-law Karen (Derrick) Burrows, special uncle Bill Mitchell, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and former Bruce Power co-workers.
Predeceased by his parents, John Mitchell and Dorothy (née Eskrick) Graham, mother Bernice Masterson (née MacDougall), step-father Jack Graham, brother Gregg Graham and mother-in-law Dorothy Moorehouse.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Kincardine Hospital and Owen Sound Intensive Care Unit for giving such good care to Bob.
A memorial service to honour Bob’s life was conducted from Kincardine United Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, with Rev. Gord Dunbar officiating.
Inurnment Kincardine Cemetery.
A celebration of his life took place at the Kincardine Pavilion from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, the Kincardine Minor Hockey Association or a charity of your choice appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
