BILL TURVILL
March 13, 1937- June 23, 2021
William “Bill” Turvill (Mr. T), of Kincardine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with his daughters holding his hands, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. Following a short illness, Bill died at the age of 84.
He is sadly missed by his son Bill Jr. and daughter-in-law Nancy, daughter Gwenna, daughter Janice and son-in-law Randy.
Loved and missed by his grandchildren: Jenny (Mike), Blake, Liz (Luke), Claire (Matt), Rebecca, Sawyer and Molly (Dylan) and by great grandsons Landon & Leo (predeceased).
Also predeceased by his parents, William Wilfred Turvill Sr. and Muriel Kathleen Turvill (née Harvey).
Bill was an exceptional card player, a pretty good golfer, a loyal Probus member and a wonderful friend to many. Principal of RDSS, RDS and KDSS, a police commissioner for the town of Kincardine, teacher of ESL and a counsellor, Bill had colourful careers. He was a devout member of the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Special thanks to the staff of The Village of Glendale Crossing in London (especially the Glanworth neighbourhood) for their care and compassion during his final few months.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, starting at 2 p.m. The funeral service was held at the Davey Linklater Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2021, and was followed by Interment at the Kincardine cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the William Turvill Scholastic Achievement Award, which supports one student each year at Ripley Huron Community School; cheques can be made payable to the Bluewater District School Board. Donations to a charity of your choice or planting a tree in his memory also appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
