BEVERLY POLLARD

Beverly Pollard, of Kincardine, passed away at Trillium Court on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at age 92, surrounded by her family and listening to her favourite jazz music.
Beloved dance partner and best friend of the late Doug Scott.
Bev was born in East York Township on Jan. 16, 1931 to the late Helen (Dowdell) and Bert Clark.
She worked for several years at Bruce Power, where she met Doug in 1968. Bev loved music and spent countless hours with the Lighthouse Swing Band, dancing along to the tunes that Doug played on his saxophone.
Greatly missed by her son John (Joan) Pollard of Kincardine and Doug’s daughter Therese (Greg ) Drodge of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Amy (Steve) Fry of Ripley and Jeff (Maryellen) Pollard of Lucknow and cherished great grandma of Taylor, Taryn, Tori, Ty and Kenzie.
Also survived by sister Doreen (Sandy) McMillan of Peterborough and several Pollard and Hunter relatives.
Predeceased by daughter Susan and first husband Jack Pollard.
Visitation was held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023. A private graveside service and interment will take place in the spring at the Kincardine Cemetery.
