ELIZABETH “BETTY” GRIGG

Elizabeth Ella Mae “Betty” Grigg (née Hetsler) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home in Kincardine on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, in her 79th year.
Cherished wife of the late Stuart “Stu” John Grigg (2017).
Loving mother of Lisa (Alvin) Storey, of Kincardine; and Paul (Cyndy) Grigg, of London.
Doting grandmother of Rebecca (Derek), Brooke, Marlise, Ella, Claiya, Elyse and Lily.
Deeply missed by her sister Shirley (Ross) Sturdy, of London.
Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Melvin and Margaret (née Carr) Hetsler, and brother-in-law Murray Grigg of Alberta.
Due to provincial restrictions, a private family funeral service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, with Rev. Gord Dunbar officiating.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or Kincardine Lions Club were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
