“BERT” DAVEY
July 17, 1931 – April 24, 2021

Gilbert “Bert” Eugene Davey, of Trillium Court Lodge in Kincardine, passed away at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich on Friday, April 23, 2021, three months shy of his 90th birthday.
Survived by his brother Ron (Betty), of London, and sister-in-law Lois Davey, of Kincardine.
Cherished uncle of his several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephew.
Predeceased by his partner Ruth Leggett; his parents Reg and Catherine (née Jarrell) Davey; his brothers Lawrence (Effie), Leslie, Reg “June” and Owen; his sisters Helen (Jack) Slessor and Phyllis (Herb) Shelton; his nephews Edwyn Davey and Jamie Davey; and his great-niece Kerrie Slessor.
Bert’s family wishes to express their thanks to the staff and residents at Trillium Court for the excellent care and friendship given to Bert during his stay there. Special thanks also goes out to Dr. Daters, Connie McMillan and the staff at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion.
Following Bert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Cremation has taken place.
Interment Kincardine Cemetery.
