Anco Guikema of Kincardine passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine, on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Lila Guikema (née Stewart).
Cherished father of Joyce (Dave) MacKay of Kincardine and Connie Ross (Martin Needham) of Kincardine.
Loving grandfather of Jasmine Farrell, Joel Welch, Sarah Welch, Sasha Ross, Adam MacKay and Jason MacKay and great-grandfather of Deter Nowak.
Dear brother of Peter (Deane) Guikema of Tiverton and Johanna (Howie) Gingerich of New Hamburg.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Geert and Martha (née VandDer Ploeg), daughter Elizabeth Welch and infant children Paul and Marilyn.
A private family funeral service was held.
Final resting place: Kincardine Cemetery.
