ALLISTER MacKAY

Allister MacKay passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at the Kincardine hospital. He was in his 97th year.
He was born in Kincardine on Nov. 11, 1924 to the late Mary (née Courtney) and Alexander McKay.
Beloved husband of the late Pearl MacKay (née Kobe).
Greatly missed by his daughters Judy Finlayson, of Walkerton; Nancy & Edward Brown, of Lucknow; Marg & Kevin Moorehouse, of Calgary, AB; Elizabeth & Dennis Fry, of R.R. #1, Cargill; and Allison & Paul Wilken, of R.R. #1, Kincardine.
Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and special companion Duffy. Predeceased by his son-in-law Bill Finlayson and his five brothers: Grant, Calvin, Hector, Elmer and Wilmer.
Visitation was held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. A private funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, with Rev. Ruth MacLean officiating.
Interment Ripley Cemetery.
