Allan was raised outside Kincardine on Highway 9 and although he left for a brief time, thinking he would train to be a mechanic, he returned to what he loved most – family and farming. Allan was hard working and never walked away from what needed to be done. He possessed a great sense of humour, sociability, intelligence and a twinkle in his eye. He loved to travel, dance and spend time with others. Allan has left his family and friends with many great memories to comfort them. He will be missed.
Family received friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, where a funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 with Rev. Gord Dunbar officiating.
Interment at the Kincardine Cemetery.
If so desired, memorial donations in Allan’s memory to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation, Kincardine and Community Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy by his family.
